A great while ago I started crocheting little Christmas stockings. I thought they might make cute little gifts for my friends. In the end I made 10 of them in red and white:

The pattern I used is basically this one (British terminology) http://www.lemondedesucrette.com/2011/11/16/little-christmas-socks-the-pattern/ for the red part of the tiny stockings. I then switched to white wool, crocheting another round of DC and then added four rounds of those TR you crochet around the TR of the former round (I unfortunately don't know the name, it's Reliefstäbchen in German...).
