January 2018 is in full swing and so is my planning obsession :)
Shortly before 2017 came to an end, I added a few more DIY dashboards to my Filofax. Once again I mainly used paper from my beloved Flow Magazine.
Last week I finally finished the inserts for February. They are looking slightly different than the January ones as you can see.
My intention this time was to use the weekly overview just for appointments and such. This way I was able to minimize the space for each day and put it on one page instead of two. I'll then have a full page for my to-do list. We'll see how that works.

Side note 1: So far I haven't put any Paper, Wool & Yarn watermarks on my inserts but I'm thinking about maybe doing so the next time. What do you think?!
Side note 2: The Planner Inserts page got a little makeover. It started to get too crowded there so I simplified things a bit. I think it's way easier that way to find stuff on that page now.

I thought it's about time I shared some crafty Christmas projects with you!
Truth to be told, there aren't that many Christmassy projects this year, just a few. But let me share at least a little something with you.
So I made a tree skirt! It's the Martha Stewart Scalloped Tree Skirt to be exact. Looks amazing but at the same time it's pretty easy to sew. Check out the video below to get an impression of this crafting project. I will also show you my Christmas tree :)

over the last couple of days I've been pretty busy creating and printing inserts for my 2018 Filofax planner...:
Almost every insert you saw in the video can be downloaded for free :) Just go to the Planner Inserts page and choose whatever you're interested in!
My inserts are available in two languages, German and English. Most of them are PNG files, some are PDF files which I offer in A4 as well as in letter format.
I've got a few more inserts on my to do list so stay tuned for more to come :)
I am currently working on a bunch of cotton pads and for whatever reason I felt like creating a short Stop Motion video along the way :)

As soon as I finished all the cotton pads I planned to crochet (which will take a little while, I am hooking just 3 to 4 per day) I'll share the final results!
a little while ago, when working on a small DIY favour for a pen pal I realized I ran out of photo corners but the project I was working on definitely required some. It was a Sunday and as shops are closed on Sundays in good ol' Germany taking the tram downtown and buying some at the local Idee shop was out of question. So I decided to craft some. And truth to be told, photo corners are darn simple to make!
here's a short show and tell of my planner spreads for May and June. This time I'm not sharing the actual process of creating the spreads, I'm just sharing the finished spreads.
I am currently thinking about moving into another planner or journal. Traveler's notebooks for example have caught my attention lately. But I haven't decided yet whether or not...

today I'd like to share with you just a tiny impression of my latest visit to the Botanical Garden in Kassel:
I went there on the 1st of May early in the morning. It was still pretty quiet at that time, only the birdies were making quite a lot of noise :)
Apart from that I have question for you guys: What do you think about a crafting or crocheting live stream every once in a while, just 15-30 minutes per session? Would you be interested?

Fun Fact: The moon was in Libra, which is my zodiac sign. So of course I had to do something special that day!

I am totally into phenology wheels lately! I figured they are perfect for tracking all sorts of cycles, especially moon cycles. In the video below I show you how you can create such a wheel yourself.

today I'd like to share with you the crafting paper I bought from Tedi recently:
For those of you not knowing what Tedi is: It's one of those low-budget stores where you can get cheep stuff of all sorts. They do have a really nice crafting aisle so I stop by there every once in a while.
I got the idea for this project out of a magazine called Landlust which offers quite a lot of rustic DIY ideas.
You basically create a "frosted" candle holder by pouring salt and water into a mason jar. While the water evaporates, salt crystals start to build up on the sides making the glass look frosted.
Let me show you how to get started and how my frosted mason jar evolved:
