Water Color Mandala

Hello everyone,

a great while ago I was gifted a coloring book by my friend Kristin. Every once in a while I take it out for a couple of hours. Last weekend I decided to start coloring one of the various mandalas and once I got into the spirit of it I simply couldn't stop anymore. I think I spent almost 4 hours that day with my water colors and this wonderful coloring book.

This is how it looked at the end of Saturday:

On Sunday I again spent a couple of hours coloring. The result:

Then over the course of the last days I finalized the mandala:

Maybe not perfect but it was definitely quite a lot of fun :)

What do you guys think about coloring books? Do you own any and if so how often do you color in them?

Join me for some Live Crocheting!

Hello everyone,

so I just scheduled my first live-crafting/crocheting session, the first Paper, Wool & Yarn crafting/crocheting live stream :)

Mark your calendars:
Today, 8th of March 2017 at 7PM CET // 1PM EST // 10AM PST

I know it's on a very short notice, sorry for that.
But anyways, I'll be hooking a little flowery something, nothing fancy. If you wanna join me, here's what you should prepare until we're going live:
  • Bookmark & Subscribe to my YouTube channel to get notified
  • Grab some colorful yarn - preferable in Spring or Summer colors plus a neutral one, you won't need a whole skein of each - plus a matching crochet hook
  • Print out this Pattern
  • Have some scissors as well as a needle handy

See you later :)

Botanical Garden on the 1st of May

Hi everyone,

today I'd like to share with you just a tiny impression of my latest visit to the Botanical Garden in Kassel:

I went there on the 1st of May early in the morning. It was still pretty quiet at that time, only the birdies were making quite a lot of noise :)

Apart from that I have question for you guys:
What do you think about a crafting or crocheting live stream every once in a while, just 15-30 minutes per session? Would you be interested?

Thanks for stopping by!

Yours
Uta
