These Slippers Were Made For Lounging

I successfully realized one of the project ideas mentioned in my resolutions for 2014, I hooked some slippers :)

Initially, I wanted to crochet a pair of Mary Jane slippers. Unfortunately, I couldn't find any appropriate yarn and I wasn’t really in the mood for expanding my ever-growing stash even more. So I went for what I had, some yarn for socks. Therefore, I heavily altered the original pattern, made a few tweaks here and there and that's the result:
